It appears QB71 is a later version

Since QB71 seems to be a later version I'd like to stick with it.

I found that if I put a semicolon will end the command line after any field, causing Link to use defaults for the remaining fields. So I tried running this:
CALL C:\QB71\LINK.EXE /E Main.OBJ+MANOBS.OBJ+UTILS.OBJ+WSCOMM.OBJ,Weather.EXE

It gave me an error saying it couldn't find bcl71enr.lib
So that must be the default. I added the correct link to that and ran it:
CALL C:\QB71\LINK.EXE /E Main.OBJ+MANOBS.OBJ+UTILS.OBJ+WSCOMM.OBJ,Weather.EXE,, C:\QB71\bcl71enr.lib ;

It compiled fine.

Could it be this may work or does anyone know what I should do different?

Thanks,

Docfxit

The naming/numbering would suggest that, but it isn't on Sep 30
 QB64 is 32 bit in Windows because it can still run 32 bit on Sep 30
 Great explanationDocfxit on Sep 30
  QB64 doesn't need a certain size file or memory on Sep 30
