Response to Where`s the heart of the club
A very good post Stamford and you make the excellent point about loyalty being a two way thing. But here we are one of the best supported clubs in the championship by some of the most loyal supporters in the country ;the majority of which sense/know that our club is either in, or will be shortly in crisis. The response from the manager ,his assistant, and the chairman can only imo be described as pathetic The manager because of his persistent excuses. His assistant because I think he is in denial of the possibility of a crisis[this after listening to his last attempt at a credible post match interview]Finally Mr McCabe, surely our loyalty, deserves better than his contemptible silence. He after all is the man at the helm, and at times like this he should be showing leadership. But so far he is unable to come forward to the supporters with any form of meaningful statement or clarity of purpose the clubs loyal fan base deserve.Loyalty works both ways,if not it becomes eroded and once its lost it takes some time and effort to resurrect it.My thoughts are do McCabe ,Blackwell and Ellis understand this and more importantly are they individually or collectively capable of retuning our loyalty. The answer to this question hangs very much in the balance ,if they fail, those supporters will I think mark their disapproval by voting with their feet next season.
