Sorry to butt in on this mothers' meeting, but I'm with Duncan on this one.

Nothing personal Mall, but.. "I don't do faith, i do evidence".. are you for real?! Correct me if I'm wrong, but supporting a football team through thick and thin is about precisely that - having faith, believing in a common goal no matter what. That's the fun part, isn't it? You invest, you stick up for your team, back them all the way - then you have part ownership of it all, when the good times happen. No?

There's nothing childish or "establishment" about having a little optimism mate. It beats bashing your club at every given opportunity on the off chance that they'll screw it all up and you'll be proved right.
