Chengdu

I had no idea Chengdu was that big! Worth a shot?... for what it's worth, for me it's not.... and I'm slightly suspicious of McCabe's motives... He's not some huge philathropist saviour (spelling!)

I can't think of another example where a football clubs overseas relationship outside the "big four" has ever made any positive difference whatsoever to a club.

I've just returned from honeymoon in Tanzania and they were ALL Man U, Arse, Chelsea or Liverpool fans... to a man... nothing else... I imagine the same applies over in Asia...It was like that in Bali as well (shameless holiday plugs!!):-)

I love your enthusiasm.. and I wish I shared it! Seriously, we could do with more fans like you. I agree with most things you say about United.

I'd have no problem bailing them out or taking a chance if we were a Premiership club with cash to burn, although it's some consolation that the terms of the agreement have been changed.... But we aint that club! Perhaps we were when the agreement was made?

That said, if that 6,2 ball playing midfielder who chipped in 20 goals a season turned up, I'd soon change my tune!

Such is the fickle life of a United fan :-)
