I am pleased to hear that after your financial juggling during the last recession, that you are now financially comfortable.Some others were less lucky,and when you have a lot of balls in the air at the same time ,luck begins to play a bigger and bigger part.McCabe appears in some ways, to have been less lucky,but he has had some big balls in the air,all at the same time. And for some ,including me, have had difficulty keeping my eye on them,and even now ,after they have supposedly hit the ground,I am still in some difficulty in grasping the full picture and the implications for the supporters.
However, it is your last paragraph,which leaves me wondering about your motivation.In that you seem to infer, that the supporters because of what has taken place over recent times,have,to use your words "jumped ship".But I would remind you that we are still one of the best supported teams in the division,although I do agree we have lost some support and fewer ST were sold than previously,but it hardly deserves a jumped ship description.
A new financial Juggler is about to hit the scene over in S6.I wonder if he will enjoy the degree of success that you report;but he perhaps will have less to lose personally when juggling with other peoples money ,particularly the Cooperative Banks.
