It was a no win with Ward even apart from him falling out with Adams.
He's had to play within himself since the Wendy game or do his hamstrings again, therefor is main asset which was his pace and aggression is lost.
He's not a natural goal scorer at this level, and not particularly skilful (IMO), and so if he tries to turn it on for the Rams and gives too much, he’ll most likely injure himself again. He’s been like that since his Chessy days and each injury has taken its toll.
The key for me is who we will replace him with; it must at least be someone who want to sign for us when they’re loan’s up.
