I also first went to the Lane in 1978 with the cheap tickets they had for kids in them days. I remember I didn't care who won, I just loved the atmosphere and the burger afterwards. How times have changed ;) In terms of club communications, one thing I used to really appreciate with the old BU was the participation of SUFC management - Mick Rooker being the perfect example. His posts were honest and always helpful. I felt it was a real shame that the BU site shut down, it was a way for the club to be close to it's fans and you had the impression that more than one in the offices at BDTBL was listening. The message behind it's closure without any explication was very disappointing to say the least.
