a few thoughts

almost at random but not quite.

We had a very promising goalie -Mervyn Rees--who sadly died nearly 20 years ago.This was in Bassett's time at the club.

We had a dispute with Arsenal over a goal which should not have been allowed. We had a replay. All of this back in Bruce's day.

We had a bad day at the office with West Brom. 3 sent off, 2 injured, match abandoned. Warnock was manager.

We had a dispute with West Ham in relation to them playing players without the proper registration. Although we got some money out of them, this cost us big time.Case was settled in Robson's brief time at the club.

Paddy got done for performance enhancing drugs. This cost us big time, we would have made the top 6 with him in goal. Blackie was manager.

Ex manager Speed--opted out at the Lane, and we all know what happened later.

And now Evans.

Danny Boy, of course, had to deal with Di Canio shoving the ref.
