Here we go again

I really didn't expect this result. Its a real shame as I don't think for one minute that even if we win at Exeter it is going to be enough.

Even without hindsight, I am really disappointed that Cresswell didn't start. Perhaps it was felt he was not quite fit enough. He seemed to make a difference when he was finally brought on. Cresswell must start next week. I think if Williams or Hill can come in at left back next week then they should.

Am surprised that none of our strikers in the last couple of games have not taken the chance to step up. Not sure if Porter is on a one or two year deal but think Cresswell is out of contract, so is Beattie, Hoskins and O'Halloran will have gone back and Evans is gone. It would have been the perfect chance to press a claim.

Next saturday; both Wycombe and Exeter are relegated. Exeter playing for pride in front of their own fans. Wycombe can come and spoil a party. Both teams should be a bit more relaxed as they have been relegated. Curiously teams seem to play better on these occasions. Maybe there will be a surprise.

Not sure I can stomach the thought of the play off's and another near miss but lets be positive, one day we will win and come through them although we have lost to all those teams who are currently sat in those places. If we are to succeed against these sides then we perhaps need something else.
Do we change something in the side for these games and freshen things up?

Personally, i'd be tempted to bring in one or two new faces, perhaps a Philliskirk or McAllister or Tonne if they are eligible / available. What about Ironside in the reserves.

If we are to get up via the lottery, we need to do something different. If we go with how things are we will probably fall short.
