Tend to agree, Grantham. Stevenage were higher energy and closed us down quicker and got to grips with us for much of the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second. From my viewpoint, we had had our chances to score an early goal, missed them all and lost our rhythm as we persisted with attacking up the left with Quinn and Taylor which was going nowhere. To my eyes we simply ran out of steam as the forward options were not there.
When Cressy came on we changed to attacking down the right side, with Lowton, KevMc and Williamson and we looked much better. Flynn on the left began to give us a bit of width and Cresswell and BT finally gave us some threat in the middle. Make no mistake, we were mightily close to winning the game after being asleep for 60 minutes. That should give us some confidence that we should not fear teams like Stevenage IF we set up right, and start on the front foot...
