If only...

Well another go at the play offs.

Part of me hoped that Wycombe might cause a surprise and do us a favour but once again we have not been able to do the bit we needed to do for ourselves.

As for seeing Beattie sent off yet again, I think we need to be glad that he is only on a deal for the next few weeks and then we can look for new strikers. I see Paynter has been made available by leeds - perhaps with his past with Danny Wilson, we might bring him in.

I am disappointed today but am glad the season isn't over yet. I think Wilson has got it all to do to find a striker to play. I think we have nothing to lose in bring in Philliskirk or Ironside alongside Cresswell. Nothing has changed with O'Halloran or Porter. I think we need something different for the next couple of games.

I think it was right to start with Flynn for Quinn. What we would give for the Quinn we had a year ago / at the start of the season.
