Where does character come into it? Shouldn't we judge on footballing ability instead? ;)

If you had to describe Simmo's time here in a word, i'd say 'unreliable' best fits. He has showed glimpses of good reflexes mixed with hesitancy and poor judgement of his goal. His salary (9k p/week) is a burden on the club we can no longer afford. I wish him all the best, but he has been the worst 1st choice GK in my lifetime anyway.

Also we need to move on Williamson, Montgomery, Taylor, Porter & perhaps even Cressy. If losing these means we can keep hold of Lowton, Maguire, McDonald & Quinn but still make around 6 additions to the squad, i'd be satisfied.
