I agree. Many times in the past I think we have been the architects of our own downfall and made our own (bad) luck. This season I really do think we have been the victims of some extraordinarily bad luck.

IMHO the team did not 'bottle' it this time. They did turn up at Wembley and put in a gritty performance, albeit creating few chances. But we had limited attacking resources available to us and I feel the manager picked a formation and tactics that were spot on given what we had available to us. He and the team got us to the final playing that way, when many thought we would be defeated at the semi final stage. And in 120 minutes of football we did not lose. We lost out in a penalty shoot out. 7 of our players held their nerve, but unfortunately 8 of their's did.
