£3m for a full back with one seasons league 1 experience is fantastic business. If that is £3m now or nailed on cash and not £1m with the rest on conditions then thats fantastic business.
Do not get me wrong, I am gutted, he is another home grown player gone, but hopefully it opens a door for another lad to be involved.
I really hope that it is money that can be used to improve the squad, enable the club to be able to hold onto Maguire and Quinn.
I wish Lowton well and hope he does well for Villa.
