McCabe vs players

What amazes me is the vitriol spewed at McCabe in light of the relative calmness showed to players who show much more ruthless, ego-centric tendencies. Take the situation with Willo (or 99.9% of footballers). He has been on a very lucrative contract with us and knows the position the club are in and yet refuses to sign a new contract. All in the hope of adding an extra 5 grand to his wage by making a couple of late appearances for Barnsley. McCabe is out of pocket to the tune of 10s of millions of pounds and he's the devil incarnate?
