On the OS today there was an interview with Simmo and now he's gone although not reported on OS yet.
Now there's an interview with Quinn basically saying the same things. 100% guaranteed he's on his way.
Shame about the result but I left the ground and had a nice evening in London. Wasn't even that bothered as I had expected to lose.
We now might get a chance to build a new team. Having said that it might be a League 1 team. I don't think the future is very bright but I'll be there whatever because I can't become a City fan. Five minutes before the game on Saturday my mate turned to me and said 'I'm fifty years old and my stomach's in knots'. For me it summed up what it means to follow a team. It's irrational, frustrating and even sometimes exhilarating but you can't change it. It's part of who you are.
So gents - onwards although maybe not upwards. I'm looking forward to pre-season.
