Makes very interesting reading. There's nothing I disagree with in there.
You are spot on about a lack of pace in the side. Had we gone up, we would have really struggled I think.
Tickets prices for individual matches are far to high as you state. I go when I can (10-15 times a season as I live down south) and it's a great expense although other clubs are just as guilty as we are.
The key thing is that we hang on to Wilson. He clearly knows what he's doing and how to set a side out to win a game of football instead of playing not to lose which is something that we haven't always been used to regularly (especially away from home).
Wilson's next test is who he can bring in over the summer. Hopefully, young, pacy, hungry players in the forward positions (I think we need two of them to add to Porter and Cresswell) as well as some pace out wide as Quinn & Williamson are not side players and Flynn has really disappointed for me. He doesn't beat a man and cannot cross.. fairly important attributes....
I enjoyed this season and that was mainly down to Wilson and the attitude he installed in the team. You can't put a price on a non cynical, forward thinking manager when there are so many defensive, cynical, desparate for a result over everything else managers out there.
Realistically, unless you have a team which is challenging for trophies (of which there are 5-6!) then some emphasis should be put on trying to entertain and be positive. Clearly the result matters but I enjoyed this season more than any since the "tripple assault" about a decade ago (is it really that long!?)
