      If McDonald turned up and pulled up/got injured there is a moderate chance that he could be unemployed for months. We would be cautious about signing him if he wasn't fit. I can't blame him to be fair. No one else would be interested.

      It does sound as though (via the star) that club and player are not that far apart and a deal might be close.

      I do feel nervous at the moment; If it goes right, we could end up with McDonald, Cofie and Schlupp. Assuming we lost no one else and retained Williamson and got a right back, I'd personally be very happy with that.

      I know we have seen us screw this up before but lets see what comes in the next week? We might all feel a bit brighter then.
