whether we played well. When you are two men down during the first half you have no chance so I feel sorry for the players and management in that instance. However, I do question Micky's decision to put Hendo in when the guy has such a bad record of getting sent off and he has only just come back from injury. Sorry Micky but if it was up to me, regardless of whether Hendo deserved to be sent off, I'd get that player out of the club. He has done nothing for us apart from pick up his massive wage each week. How many sendings off has he had? I know many of you won't agree with me but he is bad for the club and carries a reputation of being a dirty player - hence the sending off. Williamson - again stupid and for me would be another that should go at the end of the season. He has been sent off twice this season and is injury prone. I've not seen him play well in a red and white shirt very often - but has he played very often? Get these two overpaid, overrated, injury-prone, dirty players out of our club to give us at least a chance of succeeding next season.

But, I'd add that bookings and sendings off do go hand in hand with the kind of style we employ on the pitch.
I saw a team in midweek, the Academy who barely gave away a free kick and were a million miles away from any booking whilst digging in and protecting a two goal lead.
Different philosophy entirely.

Might have been the wrong time to play him with that ref. That is 7 red cards in 23 games for that ref.

Didn't see this thread before I posted. Totally agree 'Udders. This guy needs to understand what he has done. God knows what poor young Slew must be thinking. Here's a tip - get highlights, grow hoofs, get sent off and get a first team place. Disgraceful.

I think if we had won today, I might have been willing to believe that we might have found ourselves some confidence. I think it is nailed on that we are going down now.

I think it says everything that a player who we have waited for all season is sent off in the first half hour of his comeback game. It hasn't happened for us and I think its fair to say the writing is on the wall.

Next week is leeds and it could be miserable watching as they are everything we wanted for our season. We stepped away from signing Paul Conelly and Alex Bruce as they weren't quite the standard we thought we should be signing and look at where they are now.

Next week I'd play the future...

I can't say what I want to about Henderson, I,ld be banned ( not nearly as much dissappointment as Paddy leaving though).

We still have a 6 point ( make that 7 as our goal difference is eye opening ) safety target, so while all seems lost it is still possible we won't go down. I am resigning myself to it becoming a reality though.

Worse still is that my boss here in Singapore is a Leeds fan, so a win for us has an added significance for me.

If ( when ) we go down, I am in total agreement with Hudders.

Big, big clear out and build again from the ashes but with a team of players who are hungry for victory and a crack of the whip ( excuse me ). I really do feel sorry for Micky, he has given it a go , but I think that he should leave also if he is to be given the mismatch of poor perfomers he has now.

No!!! I'm a member of the goalkeeper's union and If I were Simonsen and you didn't play me next week I would be extremely unhappy. The man is like a can in tin pan alley at the moment...being fired at from all over the place...even at Watford two of the goals came after he had made really good reflex saves...at least our man in green cannot be questioned in terms of his efforts...I agree with picking some of the youth in place of the less deserving of our tea, but let Simonsen feel wanted and let's not drop a guy who is giving his all for the cause.
