Mr Porter

well folks, now in Scotland for a few days, looking after grandsons whilst daughter and hubby celebrate her birthday in NY. Won't say how old she is--gives my great age away.
To the subject---hero Porter. Did all that was asked in two matches. This was probably the first time he has led the line for us without a second striker alongside him. I have to say you could ask for no more. Did well at Stevenage and was outstanding at the Lane. Time after time the ball was played up to him and he won it, held it up, brought in support and then got the winner. He showed he can do it--stay with him Danny Boy.
Danny Boy will need to decide whether Quinny plays nearer to Porter and stops coming back into mid-field.
Back 4 impressive and did not leave their posts.
so once again we live in hope.More of the same will do the trick.
