for your loss E. I know how painful losing a parent can be. At least her last hours were pain free. That's always a relief. They had my dad on morphine too - but they told me it was for the pain. I didn't know at the time that it would help him die. But I guess that's what he wanted.
I'm sure your mother is happier now. She's in a good place.
