With one new life's arrival, one old life departs...it's happened with both my children..
My dad's dad passed away 3 months before my daughter was born and my husband's grandmother died 2 months before my son was born and hubby's grandfather died 4 months after his wife, the same month I had arrived with my son for him to see.
That's the circle of life...it's what I have to believe anyway.
I doubt that anyone at the Sorbo forum will so have them e-mail me at this addy with Marriot room in the subject.

1. Gather from the person taking the reservation their full name, arrival date/time, and party size. It they have any room preference and you're feeling nice, get those too.
2. Get your reservation code.
3. Call the hotel directly.
4. Tell the receptionist you want to transfer reservation code #### to person XYZ, # of people will be occupying the room, they will be arriving on DD/MM/YYYY. If you're being nice mention the preferences here.
5. The receptionist will offer to email you a copy of the change. Say yes, just in case.
6. Email/call the person taking the room the reservation code. They will now call the hotel and change the credit card securing the room to their number.
7. Wait 3 days, call back and check on your reservation ####, confirm that the last four of the credit card number holding the room are not yours. This means the transfer has indeed gone through and you will not be charged for the room.

be sure to check out his latest project, Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog, a superhero musical comedy spoof. It'll only be free online through Sunday. the first two parts (14 minutes each) are up now, the third goes up Saturday. It is, as the kids say these days, a hoot.
Goin' on vacation for a little over a week...first Cincinnati for a few days, catching a couple of Reds games and going to King's Island, and then to southern Indiana for a family reunion and a trip to Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN. Have a great week, everybody, and I'll see you when I get back!

Santa Claus IN huh? Sounds like a cute place to take the little ones. All we have is the North Pole (at the base of Pikes Peak) - but the same Santa has been there for I know the last 25 years. He's the only Santa my kids accepted <G>

I plan on taking the kids up there some time this summer. All plans being subject to change though since they only have about 2 weeks before they start school. LOL But, it's only about an hour and a half away from here. Love Holiday World! Free soft drinks!! WOOHOO!!
