Looking for Jezebel and Chuckie Boy

While recently manning (personing?) the Marine Prop Riders display of hydros at Autorama at Cobo Hall here in Detroit, I was approached and had a discussion with a gentleman who wondered whether some boats from his youth might still be around - or what happened to them. I am volunteering to help him out.

Jezebel, a 225, and Chuckie Boy, a 135, as far as he could remember, were their names. He grew up in northern New York, if that's any help, and saw them race up there, probably in the late 50's or early sixties.

Any info available on these?

There was a 135 named Chuckie Boy that was out of Cincinnati Ohio in the late 50's early 60's. The owner back then was a gentleman named Bill Hodge. He is still around the Cincinnati area. I believe he runs a small resturant at one of the local harbors. My Father was a friend of Bill's and I have been looking at pictures of Chuckie Boy for years. Most notably are the ones of them pulling her out of the water after blowing up one of the front sponsons. Her numbers may be visible but i don't have the pictures at my house but I do have access to them. If you need more info, please feel free to contact me.

Negative

Opposite of Positive.

The old way of capturing images. Anything with Color in it's name (FujiColor, Kodacolor, etc) were all negative films.

But you knew that and were just talking SMART....weren't you?

Happy Fourth of July!
