I have a fast deer I have looked for one in 22 cal and have not been able to find one anywhere but the 177 cal one I have is great it hits hard and is a tack driver but you need to do some work on it to get the most out of it . Mine out of the box had a hard trigger and after polishing the sear and the piece the sear hooks to it now is still a little hard but breaks nice it's about a 4 1/2 lb. pull using my fish scale to check it,but it shoots very good. What I have done to the rifle was to recrown it and make the breach port to a trun 1/8 inch id. as well as change the spring and change the lether seal to plastic seal that came with the cleaning kit from south summit I also shortened the barrel 4 inches to make it a short rifle or a carbine if you like that better. and I did some stock work too. One thing if you scope it you will need to find a short scope as the standard length scope will make it very hard to load the pellets the scope gets in the way of loading I bought a mustar 4x30 scope it worked out great. I hope this is a help and I would get a orther fast deer anytime it's been a great gun for me.Howie1a
