Have you taken a look at the CROSMAN 1377 ? ... I would not call it "cheap", and it isn't a break-barrel... But it will run around 50 bucks or so, and it will hit with more authority than any of the standard, unmodified break-barrel pistols I have used...and the accuracy is at least as good as what you are getting with the WESTLAKE, and probably better...but it's not a break-baarrel, it's a pump-up....... Just my suggestion
