Oh yeah I saw it on TV! HMMM once again they call the Ancient Macedonians GREEK! It is quite obvious that the vast majority of the Academics believe and support the Ancient Macedonians as being GREEK! Every documentary I have seen on Ancient Macedonia has called them Greeks.

So it seems that the FYROMs are losing that battle. The only thing they have left is to try and prove that their ancestors mixed with the Ancient Macedonians. This of course we all know will be virtually impossible considering all the contemporaneous sources on the Slavs moving into the region.

Which cities did Philip destroy?? From all historical accounts NONE. Now as for Alexander he destroyed one city, THEBES. This was because they revolted and he made an example out of them. This is the same thing many Greek City-States did towards other Greek City-States on a regular basis. This had to do with supremacy in Greece. Early on it was the Athenians and the Spartans who had created the alliances to fight against each other for power in Greece. Later after the Peloponnesian Wars Thebes became the big power in Greece. Thebes was the power when Philip came around. It was there revolt after Philips death that worried Alexander to them becoming the dominant State once more. So in order to stop that he had to destroy them.

And as for "most historianns" THEY AGREE WITH THE GREEK HYPOTHESIS! I don't know where you get your information from but you are sadly mistaken. Archaeologicla and epigraphical evidence as well as most historical text all supporrt the Ancient Macedonians being Greek. It is only pseudoscientist from FYROM who come to other conclusions ignoring all the above mentioned types of evidence.

Thanks for the offer to come down, I remember you once stated something to the tune of "the real Macedonians are the slavophone greeks", it is a shame you fell under Greek borders, because you would be a true Macedonian had you not succumbed to Greek propaganda.

Our langauge is not Greek, and you know this.

Even our culture is the same, same dances, same traditions, etc

Yet some of you confused Macedonians from the south continue to pretend to be Greek while the real Greeks laugh at you behind your back.

Go and speak your natie langauge which you heard from you grandparents to some Greek or Prosfiga and tell them you are Macedonian, you will love their response.
