Why the special login to post? easy, although this is still a public to veiw forum, I feel, much like a fine painting or art peice that has been studied for centuries, we must sometimes take time to look back, reflect on what once was, and admire those who contributed to its greatness.
Its like a history class where we only study WWII. Certainly, there were plenty of wars, battles and skirmishes after, but the focus of the class is of WWII.
I would like the focus of this special place on the 'net to be on those 1967-1984 years, from development, to the peak of the 335 Series Cleveland Era in the Great Pro-Stock Drag racing battles of the mid 70'-80's.
It is my decision as forum owner to grant access only to those who wish to participate in this 'era study' I am not interested in any Iron vs alloy or 4V vs CHI,AFD, etc. heads, or modern stroker kits, this forum is all about vintage Cleveland parts and the legendary 4V heads and thats all.
Any topic that strays from these objectives will be deleted without notification or mercy. If the participants decide later ot expand our focus to other related discussions we may at that time. But for now, its all Vintage Cleveland parts and 4V Heads and 70-80's Pro Stock Racing.
