not a really watch, but does it count?

I got an email the other day from a good friend asking me if I'm interested in a decent "no crown guard" sub, at a great price, because of it's a dial... as the some members would put it... repainted by a blind man. I drew a loonggg sigh, and reflected about the dial I sold right here on the VRM a while back.

My watchmaker found this "strange" dial lying deep in his drawer one day, when he was looking for a some parts for me. Suffice to say, I immediately bought the dial off him, but without knowing which model the dial was for! I later found out I couldn't afford the watch which takes this "strange" dial, so I decided to sell the dial.
