If you think Portland is some sort of unstoppable juggernaut this year then next year is out as well. Even if Ross and Niedereiter stick in the NHL they still have the most talent. Do they then wait and play for the 2011-2012 season? I'm sorry but I've seen too many "unbeatable" teams flame out in the playoffs to just pass the Memorial Cup to Portland. I don't like the idea of trading your best players unless you are in a position where you know you won't make the playoffs.
