OK.......by no name
then would you consider Kelly McCrimmon the former coach in Brandon a bad coach? He had the Wheats at or near the top of the dub standings for countless years, seemingly never had a down year. Even won a Dub crown or two yet never got that coveted Mem. cup.
Coaching at the jounior level and the pro level are two VERY different entities. There have been several coaches that have won Mem. cups that couldn't get er done in the pros. Don Hay, Marc Habschied, Ryan McGill, Brent Peterson, "cough" Bill Peters "cough". Doesen't mean they're bad coaches just maybe better suited as a teacher rather than a circus leader.
It's also my understanding that Nach left pro coaching after one year to be closer to his family. Maybe he got his taste of the pros and knew right away that it wasen't for him? All I know is why don't you ask P.G. fans or Seattle fans or P.A. fans if they would like to have Nach as thier coach?
A few people that know way more about this game than you or I or any of the other experts here also thought he was good enough last year to name him the best in the dub so being a good coach isn't all about winning championchips.
With 60 plus teams in the CHL winning Mem. cups is damn hard thing to do. There's a reason they call it the hardest trophy in sports to win.
