I wanted to wait to pass any judgment as to the two players the chiefs picked up in the trade until the end of the season. That being said I was originally unsure as to the elements of the trade for Bardaro. Williams not only has proven himself as a solid goal tender it seemed to me he leads by example and just has a lot of heart when he's in net for the chiefs. Watching him in Tri for game 7 he reminded me of Tokarski in a lot of ways. Fiddler although he didn't put up huge numbers skated hard most the time this season and should continue to be a bright spot for next season. At times this season it seemed how in the world Spokane's goal tending questions were ever going to be solved. Well I believe Mr. Williams has answered that at least in my mind and building a team around a goal tender who proves to be a fighter is a real good signal of things to come. This season had its high and low points but man did it come to a close with some great competition.
