De band Deathstars is ooit voortgekomen uit de metalband Swordmaster. De band bestaat o.a. uit de ex-drummer van Dissection en ook uit de broer van Dissection brein John Nodveit, deze broer is ook nog bekend van één van de meest vage Black Metal bands uit de jaren 90: Opthalamia. Volgens de heren zelf brengen ze nog steeds dezelfde typische Scandinavische underground ten gehore. Maar dan nu in een elitair industrial jasje. Muzikaal is het te omschrijven als een Engelse Rammstein die iets teveel naar de duistere kant van de muziek heeft geluisterd. De band staat een dag eerder met Korn in de Heineken Music Hall, maar wist nog één gaatje te vinden in het tourschema om ook Romein aan te doen. Vandaag dus als headliner, enige show in NL!
