Saturday 11. April 2009 three leading forces of the Dutch dark underground scene team up to deliver the best in dark sounds around in three areas in the Simplon venue, Groningen, The Netherlands. A diverse night ranging from electropop to grinding industrial beats, from dark electro to neofolk and moody ambient. A trifold smashing night of dark underground sounds and lifestyle at its very best. Presenting not only a diverse line-up of todays best in dark underground music, but also featuring the best of the crop of the Dutch underground DJ-scene, from Enschede to Den Helder, from Hillegom to Utrecht. Cybercase has been a stronghold in the Dutch underground scene for years with his infamous
Cyberia Dancenights (currently in Tivoli de Helling, Utrecht) and Syndrome Dancenights (in Effenaar, Eindhoven). Cybercase has also been the major booking force for the dark underground for years booking and promoting shows by the likes of Emily Autumn, VNV Nation, Diorama, Faderhead,
Welle:Erdball and of course: the Summer Darkness Festival. Simplons main hall will feature the

NOISE CENTRAL FESTIVAL ROOM industrial, noise, powerelectronics & more
Established little over a year ago
Noise Central Festival has produced four editions of ambient, noise, powerelectronics and industrial in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Line-ups included Ambassador21, Xabec, Flutwacht, Leiche Rustikal, Phelios, Flint Glass, Terroritmo and many many more, with a strong focus on (Dutch) underground noisetalent such as Machinist & Industrial Passage, Staplerfahrer and Anemone Tube. In the other hall at Simplon Noise Central Festival presents its programme of noise, industrial, idm and powerelectronics featuring live on stage:

Rotterdams
Dwaalspoor is the best place in The Netherlands for neo-, martial, ritual and other underground styles of folk, angstpop and cold meat sounds. This monthly night has featured a host of international bands including Foresta di Ferro, Sturmast, Sephiroth and Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio. Expect a healthy dose of Dwaalspoor recipe in the Dwaalspoor Café cocktail: a nice chilling mix of dark ambient, relaxing neofolk, bombastic martial, firm military pop and the best delicacies out of the cold meat kitchen.

Back to the eighties, back to the analogue sound in minimal pop and futurism. Kraftwerk, Ideal, DAF and Profil with a leading role for both Moog and C64. Neue Deutsche Welle gone futurepop. Welle:Erdball had its big Dutch break-through at Summer Darkness Festival followed by a smashing performance at the huge Lowlands Festival. The subsequent club tour shows in The Netherlands were packed to the rafters with raving audiences! After Utrecht, Leiden, Enschede and Eindhoven, Welle:Erdball will now take Groningen by analogue storm.
