Response to As someone used mainly to .177 cal

Hi Danny,

This little wolf-in-sheeps-clothing looks almost cheeky when sat next to a big Heavy .25 Gem...you can almost picture them line up at the bar, the JM No3 says the barman, "make mine a large one" the EG No17 says "same for me, please" and the little T-bar pipes up "me too"...

I haven't fired it yet because it needs a new mainspring and the sear looking at too, which hopefully shouldn't be a problem though as think I have a scrapper in .177 to rob for parts if need be... If I get the chance this weekend I'll make a new barrel axis pin for it and see about gently cleaning back the barrel, which looks to have a good bore and does look like it retains some of it's original blue under the crud, most of the nickel has worn from the airchamber.

Got to say that I'm fond of .25cal for the same reasons, the thump it gives the target. I had a .25cal Supersport years ago, it was the perfect rat and can buster, wish it still had it!
