My experience for anyone who is interested

There was a time when I experienced burning guilt and self-loathing for my despicable actions. Repentance was not my first choice - it was my last resort.

When God forgave me, His forgiveness was manifested in self-forgiveness, What a great feeling to lose regrets for the past. That is how God took away satan's power over me. He lifted the guilt and shame. I wasn't a bad person - I was just a slave.

Now to be honest, there are still some areas in my life where I am having difficulty. However I have absolutely no doubt that God has His hand in all my issues and that His will shall prevail.
