HI! I am actually waiting for some wind because these days it's not really good all aroud the place where i come from.I live in montreal canada and here, this winter on lake st-louis,there is a lot of snow like maybe 3 to 4 inches everywhere.I have add little children skies on top of the runners to be able to climb over snow drifts, and the little test i made was positive.
I have built with a friend a homemade iceboat inspired from many sail machines including landsailing machines.I just took the specs of a DN width,lenth,sail sq meter and runner's material.
actually, I'm using my 4.70 boat's mast and sail on my iceboat.
