that these Diana "Gems" were made after WW1 - I'm not aware of any advertising materials that suggest they were. Don't believe everything you read in the Blue Book, it's very muddled at times!

This does look like a nice mod 6. I'm not sure what the significance of the serial numbers is on these early Dianas. I guess it's either some sort of factory output number or perhaps a more sophisticated code relating to date/model/batch/craftsman and which we may never crack, sadly! It doesn't seem to relate at all to a date as far as I can work out.
