Diana factory visit

My friend Teun, who supplies many old and new German airgun parts from his business at:

www.metura.nl

recently had the chance to visit the Diana factory and kindly photographed their
[meagre] collection of old air rifles for this forum. He reports that they seemed to
know little about the vintage Dianas, which matches what I've heard from other visitors
to the factory.

Here are the pics, with thanks to Teun for taking the trouble:

OMG!

With so many guns around, do you think they would miss one if I took along a Souvenir?

Strange though, I have tried several times to get info about a Vintage 35, they could not help me.

I was looking on eGun at a very nice Model 60 that was renewed by the factory, re-blued also. They charged only about 120 Euros, including Delivery. The gun is for sale for 200 Euros.

I suggest you ask Teun for advice on getting an invitation. If you do go, please let me know before you leave as I have a favour to ask. happy.gif

Wow, if I ever get to Germany, a tour of their collection (and factory) would be great.

From looking at the photo's, I gather that business is slow?

I 'maybe' planning a trip late Augus, early September. We'll see what work thinks.

Chuck
