I've had numerous occasions where someone was walking their dog unleashed, thinking it was ok since "no one" was around. I've not been bitten, but too many times a dog has darted out right in front of me, almost causing a fall. It's even worse when you're doing intervals or a hard run and they keep running in front of you. I have walked my daughter's dog many times out on the trails, and I know how tempting it is to want to let them go. But please, dogowners, keep them on their leashes...even at 5am when you think you're the only person out there!
