Attention: The Trackies track meet is back on for this Thursday 6:15pm but at a new venue due to several running tracks in the area being renovated. The new location will now be Carroll Middle school track at 1101 Dove Road, Southlake, TX (Carroll and Dove Rd). This is an older track but it will suffice.
All other details remain the same and we will still be going back to the club post track meet. Get to the track a bit early to warm up. The mile will be the first event.

Tired of slogging out the mile after mile? Think you are fast? A former track star and feel the need for speed? Well the Trackies are holding another track meet to test your speed and endurance.
o When: Thursday May 24th. 6:15pm.
o Where: Carroll Middle School track. Address: 1101 Dove Road
o What you need to bring: Nothing but your running shoes. Leave your ego at home, you wont need it.
o Other Details: The races will be timed. No need to have ever run a track meet, there will be volunteers
there to let you know where to start and how far to run. We will have heats in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m,
1 mile and 4X4 relay. We will publish the times to you after the event so you have a record of how you
performed.
o After- Party At the conclusion of the track meet we will go back to the RAW club to celebrate. We will
order pizza (please bring cash) and free to bring your own favorite refreshment (adult or non-alcoholic).
