......that among the -20 minute qualifiers (and even the -10s) most of them have been to Boston - probably multiple times - and the % of registrants may be lower than expected. Even tho this system probably shuts me out of ever running boston, I can't argue with giving the advantage to the faster runners. It IS a race, after all. It does seem a bit disingenuous, however, to devise this two-week strategy for a race that has sold out in 8 hours. |
