Clubhouse maintenance--T.O. currently buys all the supplies
• If we need it you buy it (with club funds and after receiving approval of course, from the Board  )
• If it’s broke...fix it
• If it’s dirty...clean it

Community Liaison
• Trail clean up days
• Grapevine Health fair
• Volunteering at other events (White Rock Marathon 10 mile Aid Station, Grapevine Tri, City of Grapevine Trail Walk, etc.)
• Race clock rental

Brochures and Media
• Ensure we always have membership brochures at the clubhouse, Grapevine Recreation Center, Luke's in Colleyville and Run On! in Coppell
• Distribute (approx) 10 copies of Footprint to Luke's in Colleyville and Run On! in Coppell
• Work with local regional newspapers to get ads, or stories in the paper including the Dallas MorningNews
• Distribute the "hotel brochure" to local hotels

Membership
• Send a reminder e-mail to members whose dues are due that month
• Send a reminder e-mail to members that are overdue
• Follow-up with dropped members to seek feedback on why they have left the club
• Brainstorm on how we can reach out to the community to get the RAW name out there

RAW Club Promotions At “RAW Off To The Races”
• Ensure the club is "featured" at all RAW Off To The Races (work with the RD)
• RAW table at each race staffed with friendly members who will talk up the club
• Ensure there are RAW general brochures at the race and in goodie bags
• When applicable have flyers or brochures of next event at current race (I.e. BITC flyers in the DT goodie bags)

Banquet Coordinator
• It took about nine months of planning to put on the 2006 banquet so we might as well start planning the 2009 event

Also to be determined, maintenaince of the club data base, Footprint Distribution, and RAW Wear.


*** Please note this is only a working outline and is subject to open discussion and change among the Directors. Additional duties may open up as the year progresses.

Please contact Lorraine this week to let her know where the SNL dinners will be for October and November. This information will need to be in the September Footprint, which has a submission deadline of this Friday, August 1.

Everyone is invited to attend.

Tonight will essentially be a "Meet & Greet" of the newly elected Board.

The primary goal will be to establish which areas of responsibilities
will be handle by which board member and determining a mutually
agreed upon future meeting time and date, in the coming months ahead, for the remainder of this new term.

Time permitting, we will also try and take care of some old and new business items. Please refer to the agenda that was posted earlier in this message thread.
