Thank you to the merry band of RAW volunteers at the Wounded Warrior aid station. From my point of view I know that your efforts were really appreciated especially on such a hot and humid day. My hat goes off to the organizers for starting the race at 7:00 am. Congratulations to Barney for all his efforts, nobody knows how many hours he put into the race. I understand that they were bailing water at a low spot on the course late last night, if it didn't get cleared of water there was no way to go around. Again volunteers thank you you know who you are.

I was never so happy to see fellow RAW members in my life. It was brutal out there (at least, I thought it was) and it was so nice not only to get some desperately needed hydration, but also to see some smiling, familiar faces. Thanks all!

On the way out I was just fine and yet it was great to see everyone,just a bit of a lift. But on the way back? Oh wow! Jersey gave me a big shout and some gorgeous woman handed me an ice-cold, wet towel. Oh heaven!

I didn't have enough space in the Dallas News piece to talk about you guys at the RAW stop but I was so proud of my Club. Thank you. Ribs
