Congratulations to Richard Maru and his team of organisers. It seems that everything that has come out of this meeting is good.We can only hope that Gov't will take the suggestions on board and I think Sam Abal may well be the man to ensure this is done.
Well done!

Yes, its been a really good week.
I hope all this effort would be translated into action as soon as practical.

So anyone know who was elected the President of PNG Indigenous Council?

I salute Richard Maru et al... for doing what is right to basically keep off as a nation. Sir John Kaputin also made some great renarks recently. We need more people with brains that think rationally in order to compete with the world. When are we PNG'ans going to get organised??????????????????????????????? I mean when?

IPA is blocking registration of Indigenous Bus Council

The Indegenous Business Council cannot be registered as an organisation because an employee of Investment Promotion Authority objected to the application. Only IPA objected against the wishes of the people of PNG.

The person who objected cannot be identified or located but used the address of the secretary of the registrar.

Members are now seeking legal ways to address the issue.

Why would they (nameless IPA staff) do that? They shouldn't do stand in the way. Are they trying to protect the dominance of the Australian controlled Chambers of Commerce and Industry?

The PNG born Chinese will manage to completely neutralise them so that they do nothing meaningful to reduce Asian business influence in our country.
