"Screaming" and long life don't always go together though
Your plus will be having a massive power source which won't need a lot of umph to move the vehicle so it will of course work less. The downside is that every time you lay into it, it will wear and eventually need maintenence. Take care of it.
In the 80's, my local towns monster car was a 440 powered 'cuda with a dual highrise intake running dual predator carbs and NOS. He was always doing some "preventative" mainenence on it to make sure it would "scream" on call at any given split second. He was a Space Center guy (single, no kids, no real bills).
I've seen that car pull low 10's in the 1/4 mile with the front wheels off coming off the ground, it was scary just watching it leave the line, I can only imagine what it was like riding inside.
