I'm doing a little plumbing project at the house and need some clarification.
I want to run some copper pipes out from a old galvanized fitting..
I know I'm supposed to use a dielectric union. the pipes will be in the wall and I'm against putting unions in walls. I have herd that I can use a brass nipple to separate the galv from the copper? what I would like to do is use a cast male nps to copper sweat fitting. I'm not sure if the fitting is brass or bronze just a cast brownish color.
any experienced opinions would be very help full...
