      a 205 is not designed to fit on a 8" rim...could they fit? maybe, but good luck getting the beads sealed

      sizing of tires

      205/65 R17 for example

      205 = width of tread in mm

      65 = sidewall height in % of the width of tire (the height is 65% of width)

      R17 = rim size

      most tire stores wouldn't even sell you that size tire to put on your rim

      your best bet would be get you a cheap set of steel wheels that you don't care about and put snow tires on those and just switch out the tires and rims
