Jay, I have a special connection to your bird character "Nethernore", it's one of my favorite designs, and your performance with it is amazing. Tell us the funny story of how he get his name.

Nethernore was originally created for a Halloween show that Harry Anderson and I used to do every year at the Comedy and Magic Club. I told Harry I would call him Nevermore from the raven in the Edgar Allan Poe poem. Harry said since am M is difficult in ventriloquism his name would come out Nethernore. It stuck, I can't see me calling him anything else.
