I've seen them out in full sun but they seem to have just started showing up. Didn't see them in spring or early summer & they seem to appear about this time every year for me. Saw another tonight & still no shot. Started flying right towards my face, made an about turn (hopefully it wasn't my face that scared him ) & took off into a neighbors tree.

You are so funny~ this moth is so fidgety like its on some kind of hyper drug. I had nice night shot of one a couple of years ago and deleted it , stupid move.
