Response to Cometa springs
Regrettably I'm not sure which model and assume one from the standard length rifle. Cometa springs are of lighter gauge than say a Meteor or Airsporter spring and suit BSAs admirably. They may require some cutting down, depending on the cylinder length of BSA rifle the spring is intended for. I was given a couple by one of the Bisley crowd, who happens to be a very skilled engineer, whereas I have virtually no DIY skills to speak of. Both have been fitted to Ordinary or Standard versions of pre WW1 BSAs and work very well. I have more on order for my spares box.
It was great to meet up with you and the other collectors on Sunday and as has been said on another thread, lets do so again.
